WE HAVE WALLS!!!

So on Monday we went out to the lot and saw this!

The very next day we had WALLS!!!

And then the next day we had even more WALLS!

I know it probably doesn't sound to exciting but they are seriously bookin' it on getting the framing up! We are actually supposed to have the roof up by tomorrow! So yes to say the least we are very very excited!!!

Building woes!!!

Yep that's right I have a giant whole in my backyard wall!!!

Let me tell you the story! We officially got started building our house yesterday, we got our permit and everything! So we had the excavator over there building up the pad for house so they can dig the footings and poor concrete! Well that excavator backed his big a** truck into my wall knocking it over! Yep fun huh! So we get to deal with the lazy wall guy again! Yeah! It's hard to be mad though cus' the guy felt really really bad about it and is going to fix it so it's all good! I just wanted to share with you all the woes of house building!

AdDiCtIoNs!!!!

My two biggest addictions Dr. Pepper and ice cream, all kinds of ice cream! I love it! And unfortunately because of my love for both of these things I am gaining unnecessary pounds and therefore am going to try to cut them out of my life compelety. I know alot of you are thinking ya good luck Keia! I know I'm addicted but I'm really going to do this because I'm sick of the way I feel! So today is April 4, 2008 and I am going to keep track of how long I can go with out these 2 essential items in my life! Everybody wish me good luck!!!!

1 YEAR ANNIVERSARY!

CAN YOU BELIEVE WE MADE IT TO 1 YEAR! IT'S CRAZY HOW TIME FLIES!!! WE DIDN'T PLAN A BIG TRIP BECAUSE WE THOUGHT WE WOULD BE FURTHER ALONG ON OUR HOUSE THEN WE ARE BUT WHAT DO YA DO! WE DID END UP GOING TO ZIONS THOUGH AND THAT WAS A LOT OF FUN! I HAVEN'T BEEN UP THERE SINCE I WAS IN 6TH GRADE SO IT WAS REALLY COOL! THE DOWNFALL WAS THAT THE SERPENTINE BELT IN MY CAR SNAPPED ON THE FREEWAY AND SO WE HAD TO TURN AROUND AND COME BACK AND THEN GET THE TRUCK AND HEAD UP THERE BUT IT'S ALL GOOD CUS' IT WAS ONLY LIKE $40 TO FIX SO NO COMPLAINTS HERE! HERE ARE SOMEPICTURES...

OKAY SO I BROKE DOWN AND BOUGHT BRANDON A GUN FOR OUR ANNIVERSARY... HE LOOKS AT THIS GUN EVERYTIME WE GO TO SPORTSMANS. IT IS A "COWBOY GUN" IN BRANDON'S WORDS... A 45 LONG COLT REVOLVER TO BE EXACT THOUGH OH AND ITS A RUGER! HE WAS A LITTLE BIT EXCITED FROM THE PICTURE DON'T YA THINK! HE JUST KEPT SAYING I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU BOUGHT ME A GUN! IT WAS HILARIOUS!!!

Here are some pictures of our Lot out in Hurricane! It is Brandon and his Dad working in the background! It's very exciting to actually get moving on all of this instead of waiting!!! Hopefully we will get the foundation poured this week and really get moving! I'm going to try to keep you all posted as we move along!
