I want a Nook!

So I have decided that I want a Nook! It is the new technology I have to have! I have done my research and I am sold on it! Now I just have to save up the $$$$ to buy it!

We went to Thriller Friday night! It was amazing!

It was Teresa's first experience with Thriller and she didn't like the Zombies very much!!! But they LOVED her!
Jess & Bre developed a crush on this one! He was pretty funny!

Can't wait until next year!

Deer Hunt!!!

BUCK DOWN!

2 of them to be exact!

We went hunting this weekend and it was my first year to hunt. I shot a 2 by 3 buck from about 300 yards away! I was so excited... I seriously can't believe I actually hit it and dropped it!

Brandon & Jared went out the next day and got this once in a lifetime buck! Brandon is on cloud 9! He is so stoked about it! It's an even 29 inch 4 point with 3 cheaters!

Do you think he looks a little excited???!!! All in all it was a very very successful weekend and I honestly can't wait until the deer hunt next year! I think I'm hooked!

I have to post about this stupid bookshelf because it gave me ALOT of grief!

I received this lovely bookshelf from my uncle (he was getting rid of it) and it was a weird brown color so I decided I could paint it and make it cute and it wouldn't take very long! Was I ever wrong! Everything that could go wrong went wrong... the paint wasn't the right color, the paint wasn't taking to the wood, the antiquing methods I was using weren't working! It took me forever!

But I have to say I am proud of how it turned out considering ALL of the stress behind it!

And I have put it to good use!
