Burp Cloths!

Well I have today off work so I started sewing!

These burp cloths are super super easy!

I had left over fabric from blankets that I had made for friends so I made a girl one & a boy one :)

Cus unfortunately I still don't know what my little one is :(

But I think they turned out really cute!

NEWS

Well I have a little bit of news. Today is my last day with SGI Mortgage. I have decided to move over to Axiom Financial with Scott Gibson & Brittany. It's been kind of stressful the past few weeks trying to get everything closed out at SGI and get everything set up at Axiom but I'm ready for the move and hope that it will all work to be for the better. So far I have been very impressed with Axiom and am honestly looking forward to getting things underway there but its still a change and I'm sad to leave SGI. But ya that's my big change in life right now and it is all coming smack dab in the middle of my pregnancy. Which honestly had me very worried in the beginning because I wasn't sure when the new companies insurance was going to pick me up but it is all working out and everything should be taken care of by the end of the week.
So wish me luck! I have a whole new set of bosses that I have to impress :)

Lagoon 2011

Well my family went to Lagoon a couple weekends ago and it was alot of fun!

I wasn't able to ride many of the rides cus I'm prego but it was still fun cus Teresa came with us and she doesn't ride the rides cus she will get sick! So she kept me company!

Everyone had a blast though. I believe the favorite roller coaster was Wicked. Everybody couldn't stop talking about that one!

I do have to say that we were not impressed with LagoonABeach though... it was pretty lame.

And I was quite bummed cus the Rapid ride was closed the whole day!

That is one of my favorite rides!

Riding the train :) this was one of the only rides I got to go on! The animals were pretty cool! Brandon was bummed cus they didn't have a buffalo though!

BaBy!!!!

Well we are making the announcement officially now.

We are expecting our first baby!

My due date is December 13th! So I'm about 12 weeks along!

We went and heard the heartbeat for the first time on Friday and it was amazing!

We also got to do an ultrasound to watch the baby for a minute. I was very surprised to see how big the baby is already! Brandon was really excited to cus this is the first thing he has seen that shows the baby ya know. Up until now he has just had a sick wife to deal with.

We are very anxious to find out what the baby is but we won't find that out until the end of July. Which is fine we can wait it's just something to look forward too!

I haven't been all that sick but I haven't felt very good either. I have been nauseaus but haven't actually thrown up yet so I can't complain to much! And I still fit into my pants which is awesome!

But ya that's about it for now!

FINALLY 2 CHAIRS!

Yep thats right I FINALLY have 2 normal chairs to go with my table I finished.

I forgot to take the before pictures but I bought them at the DI for $10 a peice and they were in pretty bad shape! The cushions especially were stained and nasty but not any more!

The pictures really don't do them much justice they are beat up and aged and I think they turned out great!

Oh and I discovered the most amazing thing ever! Kilz primer! I can't believe nobody has told me about this stuff before. It completely cut my time in half for these chairs. I read about it on allthingsthrifty.com if you haven't been to her site before you need to check it out cus she does some amazing things. But she said that she uses Kilz primer instead of sanding. I was blown away by this so since I already had one of the chairs sanded I decided to spray the primer on the other one that wasn't sanded and they look exactly the same! YEAH! I am quite excited about this because sanding is by far the worse part about it all and it takes the longest! So hello Kilz primer! I'm going to get so many more projects done now!

Now I just need 2 more chairs and a bench!

PaRk CiTy 2011

Well it has been a really long time since I did anything on this blog and these are some of the most recent pictures I have. We went to Salt Lake to visit Travis & Teresa the first part of February and ended up in Park City one of the days. It was very cold but alot of fun! It was B's first time there to so it was good!

There really isn't much else going on with us right now.

But I'm going to try to do better at this blog thing... I always hate when other people dont update theres so I should probably be better at mine :)

$25 TABLE!

Thats right folks I bought a table at the DI for $25 and fixed it up!

I was so excited to bring it home! Now I just need chairs! hahaha I already have 2 that I bought for $10 I just have to fix them up and then I'll get 2 more and my dad is going to make me a bench to go on the window side!
