THE Deer!

I would like to introduce you all to THE Deer! This is the buck Brandon shot last year. He just brought it home yesterday and he is oh so proud!

As you will see in the pictures it is hanging in my LIVING ROOM! Ya he brought it home last night and took down the clock that is supposed to be hanging there and replaced it with THE Deer!

I gave him a month to leave it up there and then its going in the man room! After all that is what its for!

I will say though that the taxidermist did a really good job on it! It really is a pretty deer.

Oh and I have to share that once the deer was hanging and Brandon had soaked in all of its glory, he went looking through my bathroom drawers for a  comb that he could use to comb the deers fur out! Yes he did! I guess the taxidermist told him too but I was laughing pretty hard watching him comb this deers fur!

Oh and that comb is officially the deers comb!

Chelsi Run 2010

This year was the 3rd Chelsi Run and it was HOT HOT HOT as always! But it was alot of fun. Below are a couple picts we took. We had an ice war after the run but of course none of that was caught on film. So you just have to believe that it was fun!

Klutzo!!!

Let me tell you a story about what a KLUTZ I am!

Last night I got home from my cousins baby shower and decided I was going to paint my toes & fingers. I usually do this on the carpet in front of the TV but tonight I decided to do it at the table in the kitchen.

And it is a good thing I did!!!!!!!

I had just finished my toes and was moving on to my fingers when I went to pick up the bottle of polish. Apparently I did not tighten the lid because when I tried to pick it up by the lid it started to come loose so I tried to grab it with my other hand to stop it from spilling and somehow I ended up flipping the entire bottle end over end and it spilled ALL of its contents onto me, the tile floor, my table and the chair I was sitting in. Yeah a few choice words came out of my mouth!

So I run over to grab a rag to wipe it up not paying attention to the fact that I too am covered in it and I left beautiful pale purple foot prints through my kitchen!

Fortunately I was able to clean it all up and it all came off of my tile, table and chair. As for me I got the big stuff off in the shower and thought that I had gotten all of it but I am still finding little spots of pale purple polish on my hands, arms and legs.

So there is the story of what a major klutz I am! I just had to share... Brandon definitely thought it was hilarious... he keeps bringing it up!

It's been awhile!!!

I know it has been a LONG time since I have posted anything but I have a few minutes and wanted to put up some pictures from this summer so far!

This is a picture when we went on the Mount Caramel about a month ago. This is the only pict I got because we didn't have our camera with us. But if any of you have been on that ride I will tell you that the water was so high in the river that I was soaked. The 4 wheeler would go almost all the way under water on most parts. There was even one spot where I took my chances crossing the river on a small log because I didn't want to ride across it in the river. And it was a good call on my part because Brandon was standing on the seat of the 4 wheeler and still got wet!

But it was a BLAST! I definitely want to do it again! And next time take more picts!

I also wanted to post some pictures of Brandons adventures so far this summer!

I want a Nook!

So I have decided that I want a Nook! It is the new technology I have to have! I have done my research and I am sold on it! Now I just have to save up the $$$$ to buy it!
